Bicycle Service

 

We can thoroughly clean all bikes and perform repair services to most bicycles.  Since we are going to be open for bicycle service only from April to October, we have a natural and efficient location at the front of the store, in the sun shine, to clean( using soap and water) and rinse (water), all bikes.

We will be selling tubes and tires and the parts that will be used on the bicycles that we repair.  We will not be selling bicycles, clothing or bicycle accessories.  We will leave that to Expeditions Wakefield, in Wakefield.

Are main focus will be to provide a good service for tune ups, road side service and repairs for the summer months.  If you would like to make a reservation, please contact us.

Tune ups

Kids Bikes      55$

Clean the entire bike.

Clean drive chain (chain is not removed).  Lubricate the chain.

Inspect brakes, gears, hubs, bottom bracket, headset.  Adjust if needed.

Minor Truing of wheels (wheels are not removed).

Check air pressure in tires.

Level 1  Tune Up   80$

Clean the entire bike.

Clean drive chain (chain is not removed).  Lubricate the chain.

Inspect brakes, gears, hubs, bottom bracket and headset.  Adjust if needed.

Minor Truing of wheels (wheels are not removed).

Check air pressure in tires.

Take the bike for a road test.

Level  2 Tune up     160$

Extensive cleaning of bike.

Inspect brakes, gears, hubs, bottom bracket and headset.  Adjust if needed.

Remove drive chain and clean using Safety Kleen parts washer.

Install drive chain and oil the chain and derailleur.

Remove wheels and true the wheels using a wheel truing apparatus.

Check air pressure.
