Both the Ontario and Quebec provincial governments are telling their citizens that people are expected to stay home and not travel to other jurisdictions. From my vantage point, I completely agree.
Due to the fact that I repair cross country skis, I am allowed to remain open. I serve one customer at a time, and sometimes I serve this person outside. I am comfortable with what I am doing.

Shipping to destinations within Canada is via Canada Post, with orders of $65 and over incurring no shipping charges. For orders less than $65 there is a flat rate shipping charge of $8.00.
For the last few months I have not travelled to Ottawa. Michael Bennett, the owner of Euro-sports in Ottawa, drops off and picks up skis at my shop, Gatineau Nordic Sport, in Wakefield once a week. Since he lives in Quebec and works in Ottawa, he can continue to come here once a week. For people who live in Ontario, if you decide to drop off skis at Euro-sports to be delivered to me, write your name, telephone number and GNS on the skis. Knock on the front door of the Euro-sports store and give them your skis. Shortly thereafter, email me at wayne_johannsen@hotmail.com indicating that you have dropped off your skis to the Euro-sports store. GNS customers and I will communicate via emails.
I have a very good supply of waxable classic skis that can used as waxable skis or be converted to skin skins. I have poles, classic boots and NNN bindings. If you are not able to come to my store (GNS), send me an email stating your interests. I do not need you here to select and test skis for you. If needed, I can ship the skis you purchase from my shop directly to you, or arrange for your skis to be delivered for you to Euro-sports in Ottawa. As always, I guarantee the fit of skis that I sell you.
